Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an entry-level Accounts Receivable Accountant to own the full AR cycle within a small accounting team in the Racks Division. You will generate invoices, apply cash receipts, manage collections, and assist with month-end close and intercompany reconciliations.

The role focuses on accuracy and cash flow management in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities to grow in accounting and finance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of related accounting experience preferred.
• Microsoft 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint required.
• Microsoft Dynamics, Infor Visual or Oracle Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer profiles and account records.
• Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices.
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile payment discrepancies.
• Manage collections and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Track and apply customer prepayments.
• Allocate revenue across appropriate accounts.
• Support month-end close activities including journal entries and accruals.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Match invoices to customer purchase orders and maintain documentation.
• Prepare AR reports including aging summaries, DSO, and cash flow metrics.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and manufacturing teams.
