Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an entry-level Accounts Receivable Accountant to own the full AR cycle within a manufacturing setting. You will maintain customer profiles, generate invoices, apply cash receipts, manage collections, and assist with month-end close to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cash flow.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Accounting or Finance and bring 2+ years of related accounting experience; Bachelor's is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of related accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer profiles and account records.
• Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices.
• Apply cash receipts and reconcile payment discrepancies.
• Manage collections and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Track and apply customer prepayments; allocate revenue.
• Support month-end close activities including journal entries and accruals.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and match invoices to purchase orders.
