Job summary

RealManage is seeking a Payment Processor in Plano, TX to handle accurate processing of incoming payments, including lockbox and non-lockbox receipts, deposits, and reconciliations. You will be a key contact for payment troubleshooting and collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth billing operations.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and strong communication as you manage daily workload and support diverse HOA and community clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in payment processing or AR.
• Familiarity with lockbox processing, bank reconciliation and remote deposit/check scanning.
• Strong attention to detail when handling high-volume transactions.
• Experience with CiraNet or similar software is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication for cross-department interactions.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver service targets.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial and client information.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve payment posting issues in a timely and accurate manner
• Record non-lockbox payment receipts and process deposits into appropriate bank accounts
• Process checks using bank scanning equipment
• Reconcile lockbox transactions against monthly bank statements to ensure accuracy
• Consult with staff in other departments and with clients regarding billing and payment processing processes
• Prioritize daily workload to ensure the department consistently meets service level targets
• Send statements via email as needed
• Contact owners to update account information or inquire about payments
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
• Plus other work-related tasks as needed
