Job summary

Saba Health Care in Chicago seeks a proactive Business Office Manager to oversee all Accounts Receivable functions for the facility. You will coordinate Medicaid applications, maintain resident financial files, and manage income with the admissions team.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of business office experience and a strong eye for detail. We offer day-shift, full-time hours and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in business office operations.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Accounts Receivable functions.
• Complete Medicaid applications with Admissions and family.
• Maintain financial files for residents.
• Process RFMS authorizations and set up RFMS accounts when needed.
• Apply representative payee for Social Security and/or address changes.
• Verify resident details in PointClickCare for statements and calls.
• Prepare and scan deposits.
• Update Corporate Office on Medicaid and income changes.
• Run Medicaid eligibility monthly for all residents.
• Make weekly collection calls for private pay and liabilities.
• Document progress in the resident file (Collections tab).
• Complete Medicaid redeterminations and re-authorizations.
• Generate Medicaid Pending Report.
• Attend Medicare meetings to review eligibility and coverage.
