Job summary

Great Northern Equipment Distributing, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist Lead responsible for payments processing, reconciliations, and credit management. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate receivables and smooth cash flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable/collections.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive and process payments from various methods, including Lockbox Checks, ACH, Credit Cards, and eCommerce accounts.
• Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure financial accuracy and promptly identify discrepancies.
• Utilize customer portals to facilitate efficient communication and exchange of documentation.
• Manage outstanding invoices by initiating follow-ups, negotiating payment plans, and resolving issues.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and customer account details in compliance with standards.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries with timely, courteous support.
