The State of New Hampshire, NH Liquor Commission seeks an Accountant II to develop accounting methods and review fiscal services and internal controls within Accounts Receivable. The role supervises AR activities and ensures adherence to NHLC rules and policies.

Responsibilities include payments processing coordination, revenue postings, reporting, and supporting audits while staff guidance and cross-training are provided as needed.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience after high school.
• Education and experience must be in accounts receivable, accounting, finance roles or related field including some supervisory capacity.

Mansioni

• Supervise daily workflow of Accounts Receivable payment processing to ensure continuity and efficiency.
• Prepare analysis of daily revenue funds to ensure all revenue is posted to the correct source.
• Supervises the processing of all payments with oversight of AR Accountant I duties.
• Prepare aged trial balance and revenue reports for Finance Administrators and assist with audits.
• Collects, analyzes, and presents accounting data using MS add-ins and ERP systems.
• Provide guidance and training to agency Accounts Receivable staff as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and staff and support a customer-focused environment.
