Job summary

Somafina, a contract manufacturer of dietary supplements, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager in Layton, UT. You will lead billing, collections, and cash application, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely cash collection.

This role partners with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service, owning processes that tie shipping to billing and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate has 3+ years AR experience, 2+ years supervisory, a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or credit and collections experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred; contract manufacturing or dietary supplement/food industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads billing, collections, and cash application, ensuring invoicing is accurate and timely.
• Oversees AR processes, reconciles subledger to GL, and supports month-end close.
• Manages collections, conducts aging reviews, and reports status to Controller.
• Ensures revenue recognition alignment with shipments and billing cutoffs.
