Job summary

Somafina, a nutraceutical contract manufacturer in Layton, Utah, seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support day-to-day billing, apply customer payments, and maintain accurate AR records. Qualifications

• 2+ years accounts receivable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Post invoices accurately and apply customer payments timely.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems or QuickBooks helpful.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and posts customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Applies customer payments (ACH, wires, checks, credit card) to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconciles daily deposits and maintains an up-to-date AR subledger.
• Monitors outstanding balances and supports collections efforts as needed.
• Communicates with customers regarding invoice status and documentation requests.
• Tracks shipments and matches documents to invoices for accurate billing.
• Assists with month-end close activities and year-end audit preparation.
