Duluth Trading Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Intern to support the AR team. Part-time during school year; full-time during summer and winter breaks, with a schedule running roughly October to March.

Position is based at our headquarters near Madison, WI, offering daily pay options and employee discounts. The role emphasizes learning in finance/accounting, with tasks spanning collections, refunds, and month-end activities, and requires US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Enrollment as an undergraduate student in Finance, Accounting, Consumer Economics, or related field.
• AX experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational, planning and execution skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist accounts receivable team members
• Process open account collections, customer refunds, reversals and offsets
• Respond to emails and customer cases in a timely fashion
• Support month-end closing activities
• Contribute information to improve productivity, quality, customer-service standards; resolve problems and improve processes
• Assist with performing AR daily tasks including fraud queues, hold queues, credit limits, web tax, credit card issues, and daily cash postings
