Job summary

HighGround is seeking a Collections & Account Support Specialist to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payments while delivering excellent service across our restoration brands. You will be part of the Accounts Receivable COE, handling inquiries, documenting activity, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with opportunities to advance within AR and insurance negotiation

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in collections, accounts receivable, or related customer service field.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven negotiation skills for payment commitments and arrangements.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to resolve customer concerns while preserving relationships.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts across multiple brands, ensuring timely payments.
• Serve as the primary contact for AR calls and emails, providing account information and resolving routine inquiries.
• Maintain a daily collection cadence via phone, email, and other channels with thorough documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with empathy and professional communication.
• Investigate routine payment delays and collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Negotiate payment commitments and arrangements that balance customer needs with company goals.
• Document communications, commitments, disputes, and collection activity in company systems.
• Escalate complex cases to AR Specialist while maintaining ownership of follow-up.
