Job summary

HighGround is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our Accounts Receivable COE in Dallas, TX. You will manage an assigned portfolio across multiple restoration brands, handling inquiries, resolving routine payment issues, and driving timely payments while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in collections, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Excel and basic CRM/accounting software.
• Ability to balance collections with positive customer relationships.
• Experience supporting multiple brands in a COE environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Answer AR calls and emails, resolve routine payment inquiries.
• Document all activity and maintain accurate account notes.
• Negotiate payment commitments and arrangements with customers.
• Escalate complex issues to the AR Specialist when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve cash flow.
