Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking an Accounting Clerk in Youngsville, NC to join the Finance team. The role focuses on Accounts Receivable with additional Accounts Payable duties in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of AR/AP experience, strong Excel and Word skills, and attention to detail. MAS 200 experience is preferred, and this temp-to-perm position offers a path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• MAS 200 experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process and post daily customer payments, including checks, wires, and credit card transactions.
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and communicate collection issues to management.
• Ensure bank transactions and outgoing payments are accurately recorded.
• Maintain accurate electronic financial records and filing systems.
• Work with Customer Service to manage customer credit holds and releases.
• Respond to customer phone calls and emails regarding account inquiries.
• Reconcile prepaid sales deposits and credit card payments.
• Assist with vendor payment setup and Accounts Payable duties as needed.
• Support daily accounting operations and follow company safety procedures.
