Job summary

Admiral Beverage Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Albuquerque team. This full-time role involves posting customer payments, maintaining AR records, and following up on delinquent accounts to secure payment.

Enters finalized payments and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer. Obtains and mails invoice copies for customers, as requested. Files check stubs and bank receipts. Operates adding machine. Tracks account status and confers with customer by telephone in attempt to determine reason for over- due payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer. Mails form letters and statements to customer to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Researches and processes customer claims of invoice payment. Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks. Answers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up. Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts and keepsmanagement informed of status. Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary to update accounts. Cross trains (gives and receives) to provide effective backup for other office administrative tasks.
