Job summary

Admiral Beverage Corporation in Carlsbad, New Mexico, seeks a Merchandiser to display beverage products on shelves and on the sales floor, following planograms, pricing signs, and stock movement practices. You will coordinate with Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager, build displays, and communicate with store personnel daily.

Responsibilities

• Arranges products according to plan or management-approved ideas.
• Places price and descriptive signs on displays and shelves.
• Transports product from stock room to floor to meet Sell By dates and availability.
• Orders product for assigned accounts to avoid out-of-stocks.
• Originates display ideas or follows leadership schedules for Merchandiser/Sales Managers.
• Communicates daily with key store personnel about service/product needs.
• Builds/assembles display aids from POS materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store by performing the following duties.

Job Description

Primary Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico

• Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
• Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift/or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds using a hand-truck or other manual lifting device.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
