Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Easton, PA is hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a full-time in-office role. You will manage payments across mail, phone, email, online, and bank transfers, applying them to customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.

The position is in-office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with a competitive hourly salary and a solid benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments via mail, phone, email, online payments and bank transfers and apply them to customer accounts.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in payments with customers when needed.
• Enter and update customer account information in the ERP system.

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?

This is NOT a remote position. You will work Monday through Friday in our office from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Your main tasks will involve receiving payments through different channels such as mail, phone, email, online payments, and bank transfers, and applying them to the appropriate customer accounts. You will also play a key role in researching and resolving any discrepancies that arise with the payments received, which may include contacting customers for clarification. Additionally, you will be expected to enter and update customer account information in our ERP system, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurate.
