Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer accounts, review past-due balances, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment discrepancies, and account status.
• Research, reconcile, and resolve customer account discrepancies.
• Maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger and ensure accurate customer and payment records.
• Prepare sales rebate and commission reports and assist with AR activity for major retail accounts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $42,000 to $48,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Process and apply customer payments while maintaining accurate AR records.
• Monitor past-due accounts and support collection follow-up.
• Research and reconcile account discrepancies.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable activity for large retail customer accounts.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research issues, resolve discrepancies, and follow established credit and payment policies.
• Comfortable working with customer accounts, invoices, payments, and account reconciliations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable experience supporting large retail accounts.
• Experience working with Walmart, Costco, Target, or similar major retailers.
• Experience in a wholesale trade, import-export, distribution, or consumer goods environment.
