Roto-Rooter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative for our Irving, TX area. The role bills, collects payments, and maintains accounts for core businesses, with primary duties including timely payment processing and AR reporting.

The position supports the Dallas branch with clerical and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates have AR accounting experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated prior experience in accounts receivable accounting is highly preferred for this role.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A working knowledge of various common software programs.
• Self-starter who is organized, thorough with attention to detail & follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing for invoices.
• Responsible for accounting transactions to report and manage receivable and revenue accounts.
• Input data accurately into the AS400 system for record-keeping.
• Adhere to accounts receivable processes to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor payment status of all completed jobs to ensure timely payments and accurate tracking.
• Complete reports and update the General Manager on AR status.
• Contact customers with delinquent accounts to ensure receipt of invoices and payment terms.
