Job summary

Roto-Rooter in Irving, TX is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to bill, collect payments, and maintain AR for our core businesses at the Dallas branch. The role pays $21.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience, and includes clerical and administrative support.

The candidate should have an AR/billing background, strong communication skills, and familiarity with standard software; AS400 experience is a plus. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing for invoices.
• Responsible for ensuring the accounting transactions required to adequately report and manage receivable and specific revenue accounts are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Input data accurately into the AS400 system for record-keeping.
• Ensure strict adherence to accounts receivable processes to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Proactively monitor the payment status of all completed jobs to ensure timely payments and accurate financial tracking.
• Complete reports and update the General Manager on status of AR’s.
• Contact customers with delinquent accounts to ensure they have received their invoice and communicate terms of payment.

Because we are expanding rapidly through acquisitions and internal growth, we have an excellent opportunity available for anAccounts Receivable Representative at our Dallas branch, located in Irving, TX. The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00-$24.00, depending on experience. The primary role of the Accounts Receivable Representative is to bill, collect payments, and maintain accounts for the Roto-Rooter core businesses. In addition, the Accounts Receivable Representative will provide clerical and administrative support to the branch.
