Job summary

Rh Showroom is seeking an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our team. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle financial information discreetly, you will support payment processing, reconcile cash accounts, and respond to requests from customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in accounts receivable or administrative support, a foundational knowledge of cash application, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or administrative support.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of AR cash application and production functions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office for email, reporting, and documents.

Responsibilities

  • Apply customer payments accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile cash accounts and respond to payment requests from customers, Profit Centers, and Credit offices.
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment issues.
  • Respond to AR and billing policy inquiries from customers and offices in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Profit Center and company processes and policies.
  • Communicate payment deductions per instructions and perform follow-up as needed.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

About the Role:

Are you organized and detail-oriented? Do you have the discretion required to carefully handle financial information? Are you a problem solver and an excellent communicator? If so, then we’d like you to join our dedicated team as an Accounts Receivable Administrator.

You will:
  • Gather information from banks, customers, Profit Center teammates, the financial system, and the point-of-sale system to assist with applying payments, reconciling the cash accounts, and responding to requests from customers, Profit Centers, and Credit offices.
  • Apply customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve customer payment issues.
  • Respond to accounts receivable and billing policy and procedure inquiries from customers, Profit Centers, and Credit offices in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Profit Center and company processes and policies.
  • Communicate payment deductions per instructions and perform follow-up as needed.
  • Identify customer payment trends and elevate them to the appropriate process owner.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
About You:
  • 1 or more years of experience in Accounts Receivable or another administrative support function.
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Be able to use Microsoft Office software to communicate via email, to review reports and documents.
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
