DB Roberts is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk to support the accounting team with clerical and bookkeeping tasks, maintain statements, process wires, and help with audits.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in A/P/A/R and GL, familiarity with accounting software and MS Office, and a high school diploma (an associate degree is preferred). This is a full-time position with on-site requirements in the United States.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger or similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, databases and MS Office applications.
  • Education: high school diploma; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The Accounting Associates assists the accountant team with administrative, accounting, and bookkeeping functions. Including clerical tasks, filing, and answering telephones, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.

  • Processes daily wire transfers and credit card sales.
  • Maintenance of customer consolidated statements.
  • Resolves transaction problems.
  • Assists with year-end audits.
  • Responds timely to inquiries from vendors, customers, or employees and research and resolves concerns or discrepancies.
  • Experience of Bill Trust and AP Oracle is a plus.
Salary Range

$24/Hour

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.

2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R) and General Ledger or relevant role.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software; Database software; and the Microsoft Suite of software including Excel and Word.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
