Job summary

Agropur is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician in Eden Prairie, MN who will process a high volume of daily invoices in our ERP system and ensure timely, accurate entry and coding to the General Ledger. The role requires SAP experience and strong attention to detail.

Expect to collaborate with buyers, approvers and other teams to resolve discrepancies, manage employee expense reports, and support tax calculations across states.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum two years in Accounting/Office environment.
• High volume accounts payable experience preferred.
• SAP Experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of daily invoices into ERP system.
• Analyze system error messages after reading invoices.
• Resolve errors per P2P policy while following processes.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders in AP system.
• Code invoices to General Ledger.
• Process employee expense reports.
• Understand or learn sales and use tax laws for multiple states.

Your role in achieving results

The Accounts Payable Technician is responsible for processing a high volume of daily invoices into an ERP system.

Analyze system error messages following the reading of invoices.

Evaluate, define and execute appropriate actions in the system, to resolve the errors mentioned while respecting the integrated process and the P2P policy.

Reconcile product and service invoices with purchase orders in the accounts payable system.

Code invoices to General Ledger.

Ensure efficient and accurate processing of exceptional invoices.

Communicate with buyers and approvers to obtain the required information.

Ensure the follow-up of transactions assigned to him in compliance with service standards and performance measures.

Review and process employee expense reports.

Understand or the ability to learn sales and use tax laws for multiple states.

Determine taxability on purchases as invoices are entered.

What we are looking for to deliver these results

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Associate's Degree in a related field from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Minimum two (2) years of experience in an Accounting/Office environment required.

High volume accounts payable experience preferred.

SAP Experience.

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.

Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.

Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.
