Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Clerk to oversee materials and equipment in maintenance and inventory control. You will receive inventory, enter items in Maximo, reconcile records, and support the maintenance team with parts and documentation.

The role requires accuracy, organization, and timely communication with the maintenance team. Starting rate is $20.81–$24.97 per hour, with benefits and advancement opportunities, Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of related maintenance/inventory control experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication with executives, managers and colleagues.
• Experience with Maximo is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory parts in Maximo system and file packing slips.
• Enter material or service items from work orders (non-inventory).
• Reconcile and maintain inventory records; conduct cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory errors and approve adjustments.
• Assist maintenance team with parts labeling and location.
• Assist Wastewater Treatment Plant with inventory parts.
• Back up Procurement Coordinator.
• Perform general administrative duties as needed.

The Maintenance Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting management in overseeing and maintaining the supply of materials and equipment in the areas of maintenance and inventory control. The Maintenance Inventory Clerk keeps track of all products and supplies, ensuring that stock is organized, and may assist in the unloading and processing of deliveries. Your role in achieving results

• Receive inventory parts in Maximo system and file packing slips according to vendor.
• Enter material or service items from work orders (non-inventory).
• Coordinate and perform activities to reconcile and maintain inventory records, including conducting cycle counts to verify item quantities as well as reviewing and verifying product transactions entered in the inventory database.
• Investigate inventory errors: determining root causes, recommending and obtaining approval for adjustments and making corrections in the system.
• Work with the maintenance team to add/subtract parts from the system, label parts, locate/place parts, and set up minimum/maximum levels.
• Perform daily checks of parts used and needed with the maintenance team.
• Assist the Wastewater Treatment Plant to maintain parts and equipment inventory.
• Assist the Maintenance team with Maximo items such as closing work orders, documenting parts used on work orders and filing the work orders.
• Assist technicians in locating special orders and as needed items.
• Help the technicians with parts and software.
• Perform other general administrative duties as needed including filing, data entry, copying, and taking calls.
• Backup for Procurement Coordinator.

• Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience Required: Minimum two (2) years of related maintenance/inventory control experience preferred.

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with executives, managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
