Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare in Escondido, CA seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead daily AP operations and accelerate month-end close. You will provide AP staff leadership, maintain internal controls, and ensure timely financial results. You will report to the AP Manager with a dotted-line to Senior Accounting Manager.

The role includes managing 1099 filings, tax-related tasks, and AP accruals. Strong MD365BC and Excel skills, plus a 3+ year supervisory AP background, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years accounts payable or general accounting experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience with regulatory filings such as 1099s, sales/use tax, and unclaimed property is preferred.
• Experience with MD365BC and AP automation tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily AP activities including invoice processing, supplier inquiries, payment runs and subledger reconciliations.
• Oversee invoice approval workflows and coding accuracy.
• Serve as escalation point for supplier issues and internal inquiries.
• Prepare/review journal entries for accruals and allocations.
• Maintain SOPs and drive AP process improvements.
