Job summary

BLACK DIAMOND EQUIPMENT LTD seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations, supplier invoicing, and employee expense reimbursements. You will manage the AP team and ensure accuracy and timeliness in payments while maintaining strong internal controls.

This role requires leadership, a solid accounting background, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced outdoor products company based in Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Progressive AP experience with 5+ years and 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in the outdoor industry, consumer goods, sporting goods, apparel, or wholesale distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, expense reports, and vendor maintenance.
• Ensure invoices are coded accurately and approved in accordance with company policies.
• Manage weekly check, ACH, wire, and credit card payment processes.
• Monitor A/P aging and ensure timely payment of vendors and suppliers.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead, train, mentor, and develop Accounts Payable staff.
