Job summary

Black Diamond Equipment is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead day-to-day A/P operations in Salt Lake City. You will ensure accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and strong internal controls while mentoring a growing A/P team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 5+ years of A/P experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Outdoor industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive A/P experience with 2+ years supervision.
• Experience in the outdoor industry or consumer goods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing.
• Manage payment runs (checks, ACH, wires, and corporate cards).
• Monitor A/P aging and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Reconcile A/P subledger to GL and assist with accruals.
• Lead and develop A/P staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Support month-end and year-end closes and internal controls.
