Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional ready to lead a dynamic team?

PrideStaff Financial has partnered with a Plano-based client seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team.

This is a direct-hire opportunity offering a relaxed company culture and excellent leadership to support your growth.

As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and timely execution of all vendor invoices and payments.

You'll manage the day-to-day workflow of four Accounts Payable Specialists, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.

This is a hybrid work arrangement that requires one day a week onsite!

What You'll Do:

• Oversee daily operations: Monitor team performance and productivity, audit and post invoice batches, and manage check and ACH payment processes.
• Ensure accuracy: Reconcile vendor statements and maintain the vendor maintenance database, including annual 1099 issuance.
• Provide leadership and support: Act as the primary point of contact for technical, procedural, and policy questions within the team.
• Manage workflow: Assess and optimize workflow, handle daily scheduling, and ensure adequate workstation coverage.
• Develop your team: Evaluate performance, approve hours, provide constructive feedback, and address developmental and disciplinary needs. You'll mentor, coach, and motivate your team to consistently meet and exceed standards.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a paperless A/P environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge of P-cards.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with EDI processing.
• Great Plains/MS Dynamics software experience is a plus.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.
