Job summary

JUST ONE in Kentucky is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee end-to-end AP processes and ensure timely, accurate payments. You will lead a team, manage workload, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

The role requires hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Greek. You will operate within a fast-paced energy sector environment and ensure compliance with internal controls and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Accounting.
• 2–3 years in a Team Leader role within Accounting is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Fluency in English and Greek.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, ensuring strong performance and alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
• Distribute workloads effectively to maximize productivity and maintain service quality.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational and technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and the MoA.
• Review control reports and ensure that identified exceptions are resolved promptly.
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure the accurate management of open items.
• Supervise payment processing activities, ensuring compliance with banking cut-off times.
• Coordinate the smooth execution of payment cycles while considering both internal and external dependencies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report team KPIs with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement through data analysis and performance insights.
• Support the implementation of systems, including SAP and automation solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and digitalization initiatives.
• Represent the Accounts Payable function in cross-functional projects.

In this role, you will oversee the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of end-to-end RTP services in line with financial, tax, and internal control requirements. • At least 5 years of professional experience in Accounting.
• Previous experience of 2–3 years in a Team Leader role within an Accounting environment will be considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and internal controls.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
