Location: Denver Tech Center - 4 days per week

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the AP function and ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role will lead a small team of AP specialists, monitor workflows, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of AP processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met
• Oversee invoice processing, purchase order matching, approval workflows, and payment runs
• Review and verify payment batches for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Resolve escalated vendor issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor AP aging reports and collaborate with management to prioritize payments
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and efficiency gains
• Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and reconciliations related to AP
• Provide training and guidance to team members on systems, procedures, and best practices
• Prepare AP metrics, reports, and dashboards for leadership review
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
• Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
