Job summary

Alinabal, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a temp-to-perm role in its Accounting department. The role focuses on processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

The ideal candidate will support audits, maintain accurate records, and resolve discrepancies to uphold financial integrity. You will handle checks, ACH, and wire transfers, coordinate with internal teams, and assist with month-end close while adhering to company policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (ERP systems preferred).
• Knowledge of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• One to three years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals before payment.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, addressing discrepancies and ensuring accounts remain in good standing.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoice files and payment history.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, missing documentation, and payment issues.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare and distribute reports related to accounts payable, vendor aging, and payment schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and support.
• Support other accounting functions as needed.
