Job summary

United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to manage day-to-day payable activities, onboard vendors, and ensure timely, accurate recording of expenditures. The role supports Finance, handles audits, and processes 1099s as needed.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years in AP, and familiarity with nonprofit fund accounting. The position offers comprehensive benefits and growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate's degree or certificate in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable processing.
• Preferred working knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Tipalti helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly AP run including processing invoices and payment posting.
• Vendor onboarding into UWMD’s payment system (Tipalti) and support.
• Respond to internal staff and external vendors regarding payment information.
• Ad-hoc reporting, audit support, other tasks as required.
• Research and resolve outstanding checks and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Support annual audit and IRS Form 1099-Misc processing.
