Job summary

Brookfield Residential in San Ramon is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to process payables accurately and timely in accordance with corporate policies. You will match invoices to purchase orders, input data into the accounting system, and assist with weekly cheque and EFT runs.

The role requires at least five years of accounts payable experience, preferably in homebuilding or construction, strong Microsoft Office skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounts payable.
• Experience in homebuilding, residential construction, or related construction industry accounts payable is preferred.
• Proficient with computerized systems including Microsoft Office applications.
• Very good time management skills.
• Proven ability to process a large volume of weekly payables.
• Effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring PO’s are imported daily/weekly via Express PO.
• Matching invoices with purchase orders.
• Inputting invoices into the accounting system and preparing weekly cheque and EFT runs.
• Reviewing transactions for proper authorization and inputting key information.
• Maintaining accounts payable database and vendor statements.
• Generating accounts payable reports for month-end close.
