Job summary

FiberLight LLC in Allen, Texas is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to enter and process vendor invoices and employee travel and entertainment expenses, with responsibility for accurate coding to GL accounts and timely disbursement of cash.

The role requires 5+ years of AP experience, strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to handle high-volume AP processing while adhering to company policies and Travel policy compliance.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Telecom or related field desirable.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Excel data sorting/analysis preferred.
• Experience managing high-volume AP document processing.
• Experience handling Travel & Entertainment expense reports and auditing against policy.
• Experience processing documents in an Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) environment would be favorable.
• Exposure to workflow standards and performance metric targets desirable.
• Exposure to MAS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enter/Process vendor invoices and employee travel and entertainment expense reports for designated departments and markets. Code documents to the correct office and general ledger account code.
• Audit supporting documents to ensure proper approvals, G/L coding, and payment support is included before disbursing cash.
• Adheres to the organization’s policies and procedures related to Accounts Payable, Travel & Entertainment expense report processing, and disbursing of cash.
• Assist the Assistant Controller and A/P Supervisor to improve workflow and processes for the A/P team to enhance accuracy and turnaround.
• Coordinate A/P payment batches for integration and upload into the accounting system, ensuring reconciled posting.
