Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an associate's degree in business preferred.
• Proven 2+ years in accounts payable or similar role.
• Familiarity with GAAP and accounting regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems; Workday™ is a plus.
• CAPA or CAPP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receives, reviews, and processes a high volume of invoices in an ERP setting with pre-defined general ledgers.
• Verifies invoices and obtains approvals to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Maintains vendor records and communicates with vendors regarding inquiries or discrepancies.
• Reconciles AP transactions to vendor statements and researches discrepancies.
• Assists month-end closing activities and prepares accruals/reports as needed.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and AP regulations.
• Identifies opportunities for AP process improvements and efficiency.
• Generates reports on AP metrics and performance indicators.
• Collaborates with purchasing, receiving, and accounting to resolve issues.
