Job summary

Vaco Los Angeles is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a client on-site in El Segundo, CA. You will be responsible for payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

This contract role offers a start ASAP and pay up to $27/hr, depending on experience. Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of accounts payable experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with large ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years accounts payable with three-way match and general accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Experience with large ERP systems and solid accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and research discrepancies.
• Work with vendors to resolve inquiries and discrepancies.
• Ensure correct general ledger codes and payment approvals.
• Input invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Process merchandise and expense invoices accurately and timely.
• Multi-task and meet deadlines while maintaining files and documentation.
