Job summary

Vaco Los Angeles is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an on-site contract role in El Segundo, CA. You will be responsible for payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

The position requires 2–3+ years of accounts payable experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with large ERP systems. Pay is up to $27/hr, depending on experience, and ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years accounts payable with three-way match and general accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with large ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies with vendors.
• Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and obtain payments approval.
• Enter invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Process merchandise and expense invoices accurately and timely.
• Multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail.
• Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate files per policy; assist with other projects as needed.
