Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator at our Lake Bluff, IL location. The role processes and oversees invoice batches, generates reports, and resolves invoice issues while coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.

The position requires 1–3 years in Accounts Payable or Finance, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP Financials. This is an onsite role with a competitive base pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Payable, Treasury or Finance experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of SAP Financials or other enterprise financial system.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated vendor inquiries related to invoicing and payment processing.
• Liaise with Abbott divisions for reconciliations of supplier accounts, statements, and payments.
• Communicate with supplier accounts receivable and accounting staff to resolve disputes.
• Document PO errors and work with Procurement to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Assist suppliers with PO and invoice discrepancies.
• Quality control invoice processing and provide feedback to the processor.
• Review invoice aging reports and distribute to stakeholders.
• Support customer service by assisting the help desk and resolving escalations.
