Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Lexington, SC, is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. You will process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, maintain supplier records, and support month-end close.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in accounts payable, strong Excel skills, and SAP experience. You will collaborate with operations and purchasing to ensure accurate and compliant payments while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in accounts payable or related field.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process payables according to approved terms.
• Maintain assigned account details.
• Analyze and resolve payment issues.
• Work closely with purchasing/finance to ensure accuracy of supplier payments.
• Active participation in department improvements to increase efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with additional projects from Accounting Manager.
