Job summary

Le Sueur Incorporated is seeking an Accounts Payable General Accountant to manage vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations for a multi-site manufacturing organization. You will ensure accuracy, timely processing, and proper approvals across locations, while resolving discrepancies and maintaining vendor records.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AP experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills, with ERP system exposure (Epicor/Sage/QuickBooks).

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and strong accounting fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and payables software.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to PO/receiving docs and code to GL accounts.
• Prepare and process vendor payments and reconcile statements.
• Assist with monthly close, forecasting, and audits.
