Job summary

Forrest Logistics, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our back-office accounting team in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on timely invoice processing, accurate coding, and proactive resolution of billing discrepancies across multiple workstreams.

You will work closely with carriers, vendors, and internal operations to maintain accurate AP records, manage aging statements, and support leadership with reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of full-cycle AP, 3-way matching, and vendor statement reconciliation.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily invoice processing, coding, and routing across AP workstreams (carrier bills, invoices, expenses).
• Reconcile carrier and vendor aging statements and investigate unpaid balances.
• Manage inbound email workflow across AP inboxes and respond promptly.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with external carriers and vendors.
• Prepare weekly payment selections and clear unapplied credits or prepayments.
