Job summary

Midrex Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary 6-month assignment at our Corporate Office in Charlotte, NC. The role handles AP processing, vendor communications, and routine payments in our ERP environment.

Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles are required, with potential conversion to full-time based on performance. The position offers benefits from day one, 401(k) with matching, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required.
• Minimum of five years hands-on experience in accounts payable processing.
• Temporary role for 6 months with potential to convert to full-time direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Process 3-way match for PO invoices in ERP system (MTI).
• Process non-PO vendor invoices in ERP system (Multiple Companies).
• Perform weekly check runs and ACH/wire transfers (Multiple Companies).
• Assist with 1099 maintenance and Year-End processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and assist in AP audits.
