United Integrated Services (UIS) is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. The role involves reviewing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and supporting financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments on a construction-focused team.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
• Basic math skills for calculations including percentages and discounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Intermediate knowledge of Spectrum and QuickBooks accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure on construction-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices, audit credit card bills, answer supplier inquiries, reconcile supplier statements, and process and distribute checks.
• Respond to external suppliers and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process.
• Verify accuracy of supplier invoices and confirm GL codes, quantities, and pricing.
• Generate payments to suppliers on a routine schedule with supporting backup.
• Inspect paid and unpaid invoices to maintain accurate files.
• Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information and documents.
• Review daily field logs and costs posted to purchase orders.
