Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Houston, TX, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accuracy and timeliness across the Procure-to-Pay cycle. You will coordinate with Operations, GBS, and vendors to resolve invoicing issues and maintain data integrity.

The role requires 3+ years of AP experience, knowledge of US GAAP, and strong communication. You will work with ERP systems to process high-volume invoices in a multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Operations, vendors, and Shared Service Center to resolve invoicing issues.
• Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment holds, and PO/receipting exceptions.
• Manage vendor inquiries, escalations, and disputed invoices; improve supplier satisfaction.
• Oversee vendor reconciliation processes and SOA follow-ups for timely resolution.
• Execute core AP activities including mail management and urgent payment requests.
• Maintain vendor master data and verify banking details to mitigate risk.
• Ensure compliance with P2P policies and internal controls; support audits.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify process improvements and support system enhancements.
• Manage end-to-end validation and resolution of high-volume supplier invoices across entities.
