Job summary

Industrial Color in New York is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team and manage AP across multiple CoCreativ brands, including Industrial Color, Smashbox Studios, and globaledit. You will code invoices, route for approvals, and ensure timely payments while maintaining accurate records across entities.

Approximately 200–300 vendors monthly, supporting weekly payment batches and process improvements in a fast-paced, multi-entity setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
• Working understanding of basic accounting principles, including GL coding, debits and credits.
• Strong attention to detail and diligence in resolving discrepancies.
• Clear, professional communication and follow-up with colleagues and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable across multiple CoCreativ entities.
• Code invoices to the correct GL account, business unit, and project.
• Route invoices for approvals and follow up as needed.
• Manage vendor onboarding and vendor information in Airbase.
• Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Support weekly AP payment batches.
• Communicate with vendors about invoices and payment details.
• Maintain AP records and supporting documentation.
• Help allocate expenses across multiple entities.
• Assist with prepaid expenses and asset purchases.
