Responsibilities

Oversees clerical accounting work for accounts payable and related documents.
Reviews disbursement requests for authenticity and proper documentation.
Audits invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents; assigns GL accounts to invoices.
Performs journal entries for payables and assists in month-end closing.
Prioritizes and approves payment of invoices; ensures compliance with policies and regulations.
Provides training on general ledger and accounts payable topics.
