The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), and the ability to work independently as well as with others.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Assist with payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
• Respond to vendor inquiries by email or phone.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain orderly digital filing and documentation.
• Support data entry and other accounting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and financial controls.
