ButcherBox, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist for a temporary contract in our Boston area finance team. You will manage vendors, invoices, approvals, and AP processes, collaborating cross-functionally while you are integrated with our finance group.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience running accounts payable for a medium or large business.
• ERP experience, NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AP communications and invoice delivery via email.
• Post electronic files for AP charges in the accounting system daily.
• Prepare all check runs and ensure correct coding to approvers and GL accounts.
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor master records (W9, ACH, 1099).
• Assist in month-end and year-end close, and reports for management or audits.
• Verify, analyze and report AP activities and metrics monthly.
• Support month-end close procedures including account reconciliations.
