Job summary

StormWater Pros, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to own the full AP cycle for Arizona, Utah, and California operations. You will code invoices to the correct jobs and cost codes, enforce month-end cutoff, and reconcile vendor statements in a fast-paced construction services environment.

This role requires collaboration with Procurement to confirm receipts and INR pricing, three-way matching, and handling multi-state tax compliance, 1099s, and W-9 tracking.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience with public works, prevailing wage or bonded projects.
• Familiarity with Arizona TPT, Utah and California sales and use tax.

Responsibilities

• Own the full AP cycle for multi-state operations and code invoices to correct jobs and cost codes.
• Enforce PO process, three-way matching, and resolve discrepancies before payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage vendor master files and inquiries.
• Track retention, lien waivers, certificates of insurance, and W-9s prior to payment.
• Prepare AP aging, weekly payments, and supporting documentation for audits.
