North Texas Natural Select Materials is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our busy accounting team. The role focuses on processing vendor invoices, reconciliations, timely payments, and maintaining accurate records in a construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounts payable experience in construction preferred.
• Experience handling a high volume of invoices with accuracy.
• Knowledge of job costing, purchase orders, vendor statements, and GL coding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and enter vendor invoices in a timely manner.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery tickets, and receipts.
• Ensure invoices are linked to proper jobs, cost codes, and GL accounts.
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payments (checks and EFT).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to keep accounts current.
• Support month-end close with AP reconciliations and documentation.
