Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance team. This role processes payments, codes invoices, ensures timeliness, and maintains vendor relationships in a fast-paced lab testing environment.

You will review invoices in the ERP system, prepare checks twice a month, assist with year-end tasks including 1099s, and help with audits. We offer comprehensive benefits and a culture of respect and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with basic accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely support to lab staff by addressing administrative needs.
• Review vendor invoices, code them, and submit to corporate.
• Process AP batches and issue checks twice a month.
• Respond to vendor calls and emails regarding payment status.
• Assist with annual audit and 1099 processing.
• Enter invoices into the accounting software and file them.
