PRM Furniture, trading as Paula Rosa Manhattan, is seeking an organised Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team and help ensure supplier and subcontractor payments are accurate, timely and compliant.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll manage the purchase ledger end-to-end, process invoices, monitor CIS and VAT requirements, and contribute to cash forecasts and month-end reporting. A high level of accuracy and good Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
• Experience with subcontractor payments and CIS
• Experience preparing cash forecasts and reporting to management
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisation and ability to meet deadlines
• Excel proficiency including formulas and pivot tables

Responsabilités

• Processing subcontractor payments in line with CIS, VAT reverse charge and IR35 regulations
• Processing supplier invoices via 3-way match
• Posting subcontractor work to payables ledger and approval per matrix
• Preparing weekly cash forecasts and payment proposals
• Reconciling direct debits and supplier statements to the general ledger
• Reviewing expenses and raising weekly payments
• Supporting month-end bank reconciliation
• Closing PO and AP ledgers with audit trail
• Producing month-end AP ageing and GRNI reports
• Monitoring aged liabilities over six months for VAT adjustments
• Writing process notes to support continuity and training
